The development of the new district Hubland in Würzburg is an opportunity to relate the urban structure to the landscape. The project Grow! connects the timeline of the evolution of a city quarter and the growth of trees. Grow! creates living structures that offer a unique spatial quality and a variety of uses as supplement to the existing architecture.

The new spaces are located in the canopies of specially grown Baubotanik trees in an artificial yet living construction. The natural process of growth of is used, but the trees are combined in such a way that the structure is stronger than naturally grown trees.
