A red leafed beech in the historic park Herrenhäuser Gärten, Hannover is overgrowing a pathway. The branches will be guided over the path and intergrow with newly planted beech trees on the other side forming a self-supporting green structure. Minimal intervention respect the exotic growths of this particular tree and offer an opportunity for the visitors to experience it by walking through it. The design, planting and maintenance concept was developed in a workshop on site together with the planers, gardeners and administration of the park.
