The Residential Trees study addresses the question of how residential and green spaces can be intertwined in inner-city areas by Baubotanik in such a way that a high-density development with attractive open spaces is created that has an urban climatic effect comparable to that of a stand of trees. Another aim of the proposal is to show what functions Baubotanik structures can take over and how this can also create a social benefit and added value and compensate for the costs incurred.
